Paving the Way to Martial Law

We may be on the brink of events that lead to a coup against the people of the U.S.A. President George W. Bush and his cohorts can accomplish his overall control over the U.S.A. by invoking Executive Order 51, which he issued on May 9 with little notice in the press.

The order "establishes a comprehensive national policy on the continuity of federal government structures and operations and a single National Continuity Coordinator responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of federal continuity policies.

" That coordinator would be a White House appointee who could assume control over the congressional and judicial branches of government in the event of a "catastrophic emergency," which the order defines as "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy or government functions.

" On July 17 Bush issued an executive order "Blocking Property of Certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in Iraq." It provides the president with the authority to confiscate the assets of "certain persons" who oppose the U.S.-led war in Iraq.

A catastrophic attack may happen on a scale similar to Pearl Harbor, and the fatalities caused may make the people hunker for martial law.

This could happen before the 2008 presidential elections, which could be suspended with the advent of martial law. It is up to you and your readers to be open-minded. But just keep in mind the brains that led us to the Iraq quagmire.

This is now the belief of the majority segment of Liberals, as how George W Bush can accomplish his overall control over the USA by the above executive order 51. A catastrophe like an attack may happen to emulate Pearl Harbor fatalities and make the people hunker for Martial Law.
